Mandalas in digital art and glass art. "Mandala" is a Hindu or Buddhist graphic symbol of the universe. These circular symbols are found in Tibetan and Native American sand paintings, Celtic art, and even gothic rose windows. The act of creating a Mandala using sand is also considered a great meditation tool. Mandala's boast beautiful, almost mesmerizing colors when depicted in digital art. I have been studying these symbols and am just now able to create them with glass powders. The first one (shown below) in glass is what I consider worthy of showing to you now.
