I have always been drawn toward the beauty of
glass. It was only until I moved to the mainland and invited to make a glass
egg by a friend, did I begin to become enchanted with glass. After that, I took
many classes on techniques and design and began to really understand the nature
of working with such a versatile, delicate, and brilliant medium.
The path I am walking with glass is one of continuously developing my skills and
my art. By balancing solid techniques with design and materials, I try to
capture the essence of my spirit using this medium. I find creating with this
medium brings me closer to my Native American and Island cultures.
