Welcome!  Lokahi (pronounced "low kah hee")  is a hawaiian word that loosely translated  means "harmony" or "unity."  We chose this as our name as  we try to bring harmony to our glass work via the use of  colors, techniques textures and design.  I'm sure you'll notice our designs lend themselves to Hawaiian and Oriental influences.  click on each photo to get a larger image.

The Spirits  Created to remind us of our true essence.  Like our Elements Collection, these are available in blues, greens, burnt reds and golds.

Wright Tile Art pieces

Approx. 24" x 11" these hand crafted tiles are set within a Golden Oak Frame.

"Cubessence" 12" x 12" Square plate

Floating cubes of what appear to be ice are immersed into the depths of blues and greens in this beautiful glass plate.

    Blue copper bowl
18" Diameter 1/2" thick.

The copper section (that turned a dark metallic blue) separated during firing to produce this very organic look.  The original intent of this piece was to make it a sink but we still can't bring ourselves to cutting the middle section out.

"We will discover the nature of our particular genius when we stop trying to conform to our own or to other peoples' models, learn to be ourselves, and allow our natural channel to open."    Shakti Gawain
